Our design process for a new custom home consists of three main phases:
1. Initial Client Meeting
In this phase, we introduce the client to the company and services we provide and
discuss the design process, the client's ideas, project timing and the fee structure.
After the initial meeting and discussion, a design proposal and agreement shall be
submitted to the client for review and acceptance.
Upon acceptance of the design proposal and agreement, the client shall submit a
retainer (based on a percentage of the proposal) along with the signed agreement to
initiate the beginning of the Preliminary Design Phase.
2. Preliminary Design Phase
In this phase, we begin to assemble a series of preliminary drawings to include floor
plan sketches and a front elevation rendering from information and discussions
gathered at the initial meeting. Client and Designer shall review and make revisions
to the plans through a series of meetings until the client is satisfied with the overall
plan before moving into the Final Drawing Phase.
3. Final Drawing Phase
In this phase, the final plans will be assembled to reflect the drawings as defined
and accepted in the Preliminary Phase and Design Agreement.
